Paddle Boarding

  • Paddle Boards, the Newest Surfing Trend

Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world. Originating in Polynesia, it involves standing on a super wide, super long board and propelling yourself through the water using a long one bladed paddle.

The basics of balancing and positioning are straightforward to learn, and once you've mastered them, the paddle makes it as easy to drop down into a wave as it is to slip away and explore the beautiful north Norfolk coastline.

It is a great activity to promote balance and core strength. It is a fantastic all around workout for your body and a brilliant activity for when there is no or little surf

Available for indivuduals and groups of up to eight people.  A standard paddle boarding lesson lasts for two hours and costs £27.50 per person.  No experience necessary and ALL equipment provided.

We also offer lessons to larger community groups like schools activity days/weeks, youth groups, team building events for business.

Please note, the minimum age for Stand Up Paddle Board lessons is 12 years old.

  • Safety on the Beach

We take safety very seriously. This is because we believe, quite simply, that safety comes first. The sea, whilst enabling us to have a huge amount of fun, must be respected because conditions can change very quickly. Our policy reflects the respect we have for the ocean.
    • We are fully insured and covered by an extensive public liability insurance that includes injury & damage to third parties.
    • Instruction is from a qualified key stage 3 and 4 school secondary teacher who is BSA qualified & Beach Lifeguard qualified, including first aid.
    • We carry out risk assessments on all areas of our surfing courses on the beach we use.
    • The surf area is patrolled continuously by RNLI lifeguards from 10:00 to 18:00.
