Surf and SUP Lessons for Schools & Colleges

YOU ARE INVITED

We would love for you and your primary, secondary or college pupils to join us anytime from April to November to take part in our Surf Education Program out at the coast in Cromer, Norfolk. Our lesson program contains all 4 elements below but can be tailor made to suit your school and pupil requirements. From one off taster lessons, activity weeks or a series of weekly lessons, will be sure leave you and your pupils positive about the future and a hunger for more 

WHAT YOUR PUPILS WILL EXPERIENCE!

These sessions are for pupils (8yrs +) to help them develop resilience and a heightened awareness of the sea and great outdoors. Each pupil’s confidence, self-esteem and mental health will prosper, whilst strengthening connections via the group’s social interaction. This is achieved in a safe, positive and fun atmosphere, whilst being immersed in their local coastal environment.

SURF LESSONS

Our surf lessons are guaranteed to leave your pupils highly invigorated as they learn to stand and ride the waves. Using the Junior Surfer Scheme (JSS) developed by Surfing England will help provide a progressive 5 stage pathway for young surfers to assist, inspire and develop their passion and talent.

SUP LESSONS

Originating in Polynesia, this is the fastest growing watersport in the world! It involves balancing on a very wide and long board while propelling yourself through the water using a long one bladed paddle! Our XL multi-person paddle board can be used to improve group cooperation between individuals.

TEAM BUILDING LESSONS

The ultimate lesson to build and strengthen healthy group cohesion in an ocean environment. This session offers a variety of beach and water based activities which will also develop strong resilience, balance, co-ordination and promote a fit and active outdoor lifestyle.

BEACH AND WATER BASED SAFETY SKILLS

Incorporated within each session to develop a pupils understanding of how the ocean and local sea conditions operate. They will also learn to recognise, assess and manage potential risks associated with the coastal environment.
