Nigel Semmens who has over 40 years of shaping experience and alongside his knowledgeable team at Ocean Magic manufacture some of the UK’s best surfboards, as well as produce all the International Surfboards for Pyzel, Lost and Aipa, to be distributed here on our home soil! Working with this outstanding team has been mind blowing and allowed us to develop the highest quality surfboard, bringing into reality models that are designed and made with Norfolk and North Sea waves in mind. However, they are certainly not limited to its boarders and will perform just as well when away from home. The ‘Slop Destroyer’ and ‘The Bomb’ are two unique surfboards that are shaped by the best internationally but without the price tag and will be sure to take your surfing to a new level!
THE BOMB:
This versatile twin fin will over perform in Norfolk waves from when its small cruzy and knee high to overhead fast running walls with hollow sections. What makes it even more versatile is that it can fit into any level of a surfers quiver, by being ridden with various dimensional approaches depending on what you want to do and how you want it to ride and feel! A simple rule is to go larger for more stability and wave catching power or smaller for an even looser ride.
It has a smooth classic functional outline, a double concave for drive and speed, flowing into a channelled bottom through the tail for bite and hold when its needed!
This super versatile board will appeal to a collection of surfers. Improvers coming off a foamy will be blown away with how easy and fun it is, and simply add a small centre trailer fin for even more stability when needed. Intermediate surfers will experience the functionality of a more stable board but due a twin fin set up it will allow you to perform, gain extra drive and turn a board like never before. The advanced and experienced surfer will see this board come alive in bigger waves. It will allow you to hold your position and paddle around with ease in a swirling line up of moving water, stroke into bigger waves with added confidence, then bury a rail and blow the back out of anything you are brave enough to paddle out in. Concerned you will slide out of control? Then just let the channels and twin fins do their job and hold when it matters!
The Bomb will simply blow up any type of wave!
