Nigel Semmens who has over 40 years of shaping experience and alongside his knowledgeable team at Ocean Magic manufacture some of the UK’s best surfboards, as well as produce all the International Surfboards for Pyzel, Lost and Aipa, to be distributed here on our home soil! Working with this outstanding team has been mind blowing and allowed us to develop the highest quality surfboard, bringing into reality models that are designed and made with Norfolk and North Sea waves in mind. However, they are certainly not limited to its boarders and will perform just as well when away from home. The ‘Slop Destroyer’ and ‘The Bomb’ are two unique surfboards that are shaped by the best internationally but without the price tag and will be sure to take your surfing to a new level!
THE SLOP DESTROYER:
The Ultimate groveller for 1-3ft surf, designed and shaped with Norfolk slop in mind!
This super wide, round nosed, flat rockered board allows you to surf and still rip in the worst small, sloppy waves thrown at you! A tip to tail vee bottom allows forgiving on the rail surfing, and a double concave to provide maximum lift and speed over flat sections. The bumped wing lets the tail release sooner and tighter turns to be executed. That accompanied with a swallow tail provides increased speed out of the turn as well as down the line drive.
This funky, one of kind board will suit and appeal to a wide range of surfers. Groms and adults looking for their first shortboard can surf a slightly bigger size and will thrive on its stability. Longboarders looking to step down to a smaller board will love its wave catching ability and glide, yet allowing you to stay in the pocket of the wave when surfing. For the aging surfer of 40 years +, it will bring alive again the stoke of surfing especially in small waves and put a smile on your face from ear to ear! Lastly, for the experienced wave rider or younger shredder that dreads small, soft gutless waves, allow it to give you a reason to still surf hard and fast when otherwise you would opt for a lay in!
